In my eight years living in New York City, I have made a name for myself as a men’s style expert, a media personality and a well-respected scene maker/cultural hustler in the worlds of fashion and music. I write a weekly column about men’s style for Playboy.com called “Self Styled with Elliot Aronow” and edit and publish a seasonal arts and culture magazine entitled OUR SHOW with Elliot Aronow. I am also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of RCRD LBL, the world’s first free and legal curated download site.

Before that, I worked as an editor for FADER Magazine; I designed and spearheaded the now legendary online/viral marketing campaign for Gnarls Barkley and their decade-topping hit song “Crazy” and I consulted for SPIN and Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam, who asked me to write Kanye West’s official press bio.

From 2008-2011 I produced, wrote, directed and hosted a talk/variety show called OUR SHOW with ELLIOT ARONOW that has featured James Murphy/LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Das Racist, TV On The Radio, Theophilus London and many more.

In 2008 I was chosen by Billboard Magazine to be a member of their esteemed “30 Under 30” tastemaker list and in 2010 Time Out New York named me one of their “Most Stylish New Yorkers”.

Most recently the Wall Street Journal (PDF) said: “Mr. Aronow has established himself as the go to guy when it comes to style and relationship advice for metropolitan men.”
